Bans and restrictions in accordance with the REACH directive
The REACH directive for the registration, evaluation and authorization of chemicals contains numerous requirements for manufacturers, importers, retailers and users of chemicals further down the line. Besides information obligations, the directive sets out regulations for further obligations e.g. the registration, approval and restriction (= ban) of chemical substances. The REACH directive not only affects chemicals, but also products made from them (e.g. products such as machines, toys, components etc.).
Appendix XVII contains a total of 58 different entries with so-called restrictions (substance bans). The restriction conditions are defined for each entry, i.e. which applications the bans are valid for or which maximum limits must always be observed.
All the products delivered to PFERD must comply with the requirements of the respectively valid version of the REACH directive including all amendments.
Trade fairs
As in previous years, PFERD will be exhibiting its products on numerous trade shows.
